This sentimental 5 bedroom home is the upgraded childhood home where Premium Rentals owner Kacey Jensen was raised by his parents as one of seven children. Their family experienced decades of pure happiness, carefree memories made and togetherness within this home sweet home. It's a special and nostalgic honor for us to have this home now listed as one of our properties and we are sure that as you settle in and stay here that you'll feel of the years of love, learning and wholesome family raising that the Jensen family experienced within these four walls.
Home: As you walk into the entrance foyer of the home you'll find an accessory hanging rack and shoe organizer to store your hat and keys and kick off your shoes after a long day of travel. The main level has a newly remodeled parlor room with tasteful furniture and a smart TV makes for a comfortable minute to sit down, enjoy the morning news or catch up on emails. Winding around the main level of the house you'll find a light filled formal dining room with a crystal chandelier and seating for six. Across from the dining room are the stairs leading to the second level of the home where you'll find all bedrooms. Upstairs along a long hallway there are three private luxurious queen room setups with lamps and benches added for comfort, a full sized bathroom with double vanities and a tub/shower combo, one private king bedroom set up and lastly, the spacious master bedroom quarters with a king sized bed arrangement, a smart TV and gas fireplace, a private full sized bathroom and closet with a balcony lookout that overlooks acres of undeveloped farming land. It's a serene sight you'll want to experience yourself with a warm cup of morning tea. Going downstairs to the main level of the home, you'll be able to enjoy family stories and laughs with a large group in the living room with reclining couches, chairs and the popular swinging chair* for gentle swaying use by the warmth of the fireplace. There is an oversized fully stocked kitchen ready in every way for creating more meals and memories with food being at the center of family time spent together during your stay. The center island of the kitchen has bar seating for four, convenient for those quick sit down dining experiences. Right off of the kitchen you'll find a laundry room with all of your essential laundering needs for washing, drying and ironing clothing and a separate powder room with sweet farmhouse styled hints of décor and a wooden sign that reads "happy wife, happy life" made by the happy homemaker of Home Sweet Home herself. Next to the powder room is an door leading to the large fully enclosed backyard. With a long grass lawn, a swing set and a children's playhouse, this backyard provides more than enough room for youth to run and explore, with the view of undeveloped land to enjoy for as far as you can see. This is truly a special home and we can't wait to host your group.
Location: It is a multi-level home in a quiet neighborhood on the hill overlooking safe and beautiful Madison county. It's located one block over from the breathtaking view of the bright white Rexburg Temple and within 1 mile distance of Brigham Young University College of Idaho, previously known as Ricks College, both belonging to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Sights: Whether you're well acquainted or just now being introduced to this LDS community, both places within this area provide some beautiful views accompanied by feelings of sweet peace. On campus at BYU-Idaho, there is a focal point for visitors and travelers to explore called the Thomas E. Ricks Horticulture Demonstration Gardens. This garden has grown on the south side of campus into a 10 acre garden, now known as one of the finest show gardens within the western US.
The gardens are filled with gazebos, ponds, waterfalls, picnic areas, room for studying and relaxing for students and passerby visitors. Memorable events, gatherings, wedding receptions, company parties and family reunions can be scheduled at the Thomas E Ricks gardens which is a great option for any of our guests coming into town with something in mind to celebrate or gather for. Parking: You'll have access to the 2 car garage and driveway, with additional parking on the street if needed. It's a very safe area with wide streets for big vehicles, u-turns, etc.
Access: Reserving this private home comes with full access to everything on the nearly 3,000 square foot property. The home, the yard, parking, fully stocked kitchen with coffee maker, stove, double ovens, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer combo, laundering room with washer, dryer and ironing equipment, detergent provided, smart TVs, gaslight fireplaces, AC and heater and more. We are certain you'll feel right at home.
House Rules and Important Notices:
Neighbors: This rental home is in a quiet neighborhood so we ask for your help in respecting the friendly neighbors by not hosting parties of any sort and keeping music and noise quiet after x-apple-data-detectors://1 10pm each night. This helps our neighbors stay enthusiastic about our rental services.
Pet policy: With the homeowners having severe pet allergies within their family, this home strictly prohibits any pets from visiting or residing within it.
Smoking/Substance Policy: Smoking, vaping or the use of any recreational drugs is strictly prohibited anywhere within or upon the premises – no exceptions.
Reports of failure to comply with the smoking/drug policy, noise curfew cut off time of 10pm and pet policies will result in the loss of your security deposit and additional expenses may be charged to remove odors or repair any damages done to the property that hinder another same day check in.
The home has a coded door lock so no interaction with the host is necessary. You can come and go as you please. As your hosts we are friendly people and are happy to interact and answer questions or requests should you need or want anything. We are available via the platforms message system or text at any time.
We would love to host you while you're in town and are happy to meet plausible requests or modifications you might need for your visit.
Please note that the swinging chair from the ceiling in the family living room is for gentle use only. Damage done to house or the chair by excessive or rough movement will result in damage fees.
