The Aneroid unit, part of the Litch Hotel, is a large first floor luxury condo in the newly renovated Litch Building (est. 1909). (Please note that there is currently a construction project on the other side of the building. It is possible that you will hear noise Monday - Friday 7:00 - 5:00.) This unit located in Enterprise, OR, in the heart of Wallowa County is only minutes away from Joseph, OR and Wallowa Lake. It has 15 foot ceilings, original wood floors, original exposed stone walls and original trim throughout. It includes a main floor master bedroom with a king bed and a 2nd bedroom on the mezzanine with a king bed. Enjoy cooking in the spacious, fully equipped kitchen that includes custom, quartz countertops.

This is a very old building. Please note, when there are guests in the adjacent unit, noise transfer between units will occur.

We understand the cleaning fee charged is an added burden to our guests. Be assured, the entire fee is used to pay our cleaners are reasonable wage and ensure our units are spotless for the next guests. Because we charge a sizable cleaning fee, we don't require our guests to complete check out task list. Here is the exact message our guests receive prior to check out.

" Its a little ironic that many vacation rentals make their guests spend the last part of their visit completing a list of chores. We don't like to add stress to our guests as they depart so we don't require any tasks at checkout. Following are 3 requests; not requirements. If you don't do them, it won't effect the review we leave you. 1) Our cleaners would be grateful, if you could start the dishwasher on your way out and 2) we would be grateful, if you could send us a quick text with your unit name letting us know you've left so we can start prepping the unit for our next guests. 3) relax and enjoy the last morning of your visit."

In the rear of the unit away from the street is a large bedroom with a comfortable king size bed.


Up a short flight of stairs to the sleeping mezzanine. A comfortable king size bed awaits along with a work desk and chair and a view of the kitchen Livingroom area.


A large bathroom with tile floors and a rain shower inside a large stand up tiled shower. A vanity and large sink and lit mirror provide more than enough space for make up application.


The kitchen is well appointed. New appliances and new quartz countertops provide ample of food prep space. Appliances such as a Keurig coffee maker, blender and toaster help make the kitchen meet every guests needs. 16 spices and olive oil ensure your meals will be full of flavor. A small dining table by the front window along with two dining chairs allows for a comfortable dining experience using locally hand made plates, bowls and coffee cups. The kitchen opens into a living room space that provides a comfortable leather sofa facing a large HD flat screen smart TV.


The front door opens to a small vestibule that is shared with the unit next door, Sacajawea. Your just a short walk away from several eating establishments and just a short drive away from the Wallowa Lake and the many outdoor opportunities that the Eagle Caps offer. There is plenty of on street parking for guests in the block surrounding the Litch Hotel. In more than a year of operating the hotel, we haven't had a guest complain about not being able to locate convenient parking.

This is a pet-friendly home, but we do have policies to adhere to to ensure that we can continue to offer this amazing benefit to future guests. Please inform us at the time of booking if you will be bringing a pet. We reserve the right to ask you to leave the property should you fail to do this. There is a $25 nightly fee per dog (ESA animals included) that will be collected prior to check-in. This is refundable should your pet no longer be accompanying you after the fee is paid.

Please note that pets are not allowed on the furniture, nor are they allowed to be left unattended in the unit unsupervised.

Todd & Andy McKee, The McKee Brothers, own and operate the Litch Hotel which is part of Eagle Cap Vacation Rentals. They both live in Wallowa County, near Enterprise and are available to be onsite quickly if a need arises.

When you stay at the Aneroid unit, in the historic Litch Hotel, you will enjoy both history and modern craftsmanship. The Litch Building was first built in 1880 as a 1-story saloon. in 1901 a dog knocked over a kerosine lamp and much of the building burnt down. In 1909 Sam Litch rebuilt it with an expanded footprint and a 2nd story. Over the past 140 years it has been home to countless businesses including a hotel. Todd and Andy ,The McKee Brothers, purchased the Litch building in 2018 in considerable disrepair. Wanting to preserve this important part of Wallowa County history, they poured their blood, sweat and love into first reinforcing and then renovating the building back to much of its original grandeur. This project is on going and will eventually include 13 short term condos each with a unique Wallowa County theme.

There are several parking spaces in front of the Litch Hotel and plentiful free on-street parking adjacent to the building.


-To receive a full refund, guests must cancel at least 30 days before check-in
-If guests cancel between 7 and 30 days before check-in, they will be refunded 50% for all nights
-If guests cancel less than 7 days before check-in, they will not receive a refund
- Guests can also receive a full refund if they cancel within 48 hours of booking, provided the cancellation occurs at least 14 days before check-in
